Domestic abuse and sexual assault can be difficult to talk about, but raising awareness is critical to changing existing attitudes and to build healthier, violence-free futures in our community.
How can we work together to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault on the Eastern Shore? Just ask us. We offer a variety of free trainings, presentations, and activities that help build awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault, about healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns, and about positive action, including how to offer support to survivors.
Our staff and volunteers speak at schools, in the workplace, at churches, and to community groups. We average 150 outreach special events, workshops, trainings, speaking engagements, and community-based collaborations every year. We also reach countless others through public service announcements, social media, and printed materials.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact us. We can custom tailor a presentation to meet the needs of your group, and we also enjoy opportunities to have a booth or table at community special events.
Domestic violence and sexual assault affect all of us, but together, we can take action to prevent abuse and build healthy relationships, safe homes, happy childhoods, and a thriving community.
