ESCADV accepts monetary and in-kind donations.
As a community-based non-profit we rely on your kindness to achieve our mission of fostering safety and self-sufficiency for survivors of domestic violence. Monetary donations are taken in the form of cash, check, or credit card. You can give on-time, over time or make provisions for ESCADV in your estate planning. You can be comfortable giving. As documented in our most recent audit, 82 cents of every dollar goes directly to client services.
In-kind donations of goods and services are essential for providing necessary items to our clients. Your gifts of clothing and household items can mean the difference between clients securing a job or feeling stable in shelters or permanent housing. In addition, the financial value of your in-kind donations provide needed matching funds for state grants we receive.
ESCADV needs your support.
Here's how your gift could help:
$1,000 provides utility costs of our shelter for one month
$500 provides relocation assistance for a family escaping violence
$250 provides 24-hour coverage of our crisis hotline for one month
$100 provides four hours of counseling for domestic violence victims
$75 provides three community prevention presentations
$50 provides food for a week for a shelter guest
$25 provides one night's stay in shelter
Goods to donate include:
-furniture and houshold items
-paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, etc...)
-pots, pans, and dishes
In addition, there are opportunities for you, your church, your civic group, or your business to be "Room for Hope" Shelter Sponsors.
